Critic's Pick Release Date: 2011-04-21

If you (like us) were among the furverts who immediately RSVPed to a Facebook invitation for Temple of Flesh’s Exotic Easter 11 (the latest chapter in the San Antonio Fetish Ball saga), then you likely shared in our devastation when the event was “cancelled.” Thank the loincloth-clad Lord: Facebook speaketh untruth (they were having a prude moment). When we spoke with organizer Steve Shieldes, he assured us that DJs Vyndel, Spinlock, Mr. Scandal, Danimal Sky, Heff-Ra, and Michael Angel would still be providing a pulsing soundtrack for racy spectacles by Lady Dori Bell, Glory Hole Girls, Jericho Edge, and Devil Bunnies, and that both of the Korova’s floors would still be generously endowed with erotic visuals, “human chandeliers,” a multi-purpose dungeon, an assortment of kinky vendors (bring your Easter basket!), and plenty of free liquid latex body paint to cover up those naughty bits. $15 in advance (from Adam & Eve: 6957 San Pedro), $20 at the door, doors at 8pm, The Korova, 107 E Martin, (210) 226-5070, templeofflesh.com, exoticeaster.com.
