Bogus reality TV producer accused of sexually assaulting aspiring teenage model

More details have surfaced in the FBI's case against a wanna-be San Antonio reality TV producer accused of sexually exploiting local underage girls.

In February the feds unveiled a 22-count indictment against Gemase Lee Simmons, outlining the case of one underage San Antonio girl who claims Simmons coerced her into texting him sexually explicit and nude photos.

As per affidavits filed in federal court, the FBI says Simmons' ruse would go something like this: Simmons would approach the young aspiring model, offering her a chance to work with a network he called “G2News.” He'd provide the cellphone number of a “very successful” modeling client named “Claudia” who would then exchange texts with the girl and encourage her to start sending nude photos. “Claudia” would also send the image of an adult, black male penis, and even encourage the girl to have sex with Simmons. The feds say phone records show Simmons and “Claudia” are one in the same. And in an apparent effort to scare the girl off, Simmons would then text from another number, pretending to be someone else named “Curtis Johnson” and threatening to sell the nude photos over the web and give them to the girl's pastor.

A criminal complaint partially unsealed in February cites a “female associate” of Simmons' who claimed he “utilized the same modus operandi

to obtain nude and sexually explicit images and videos of other minor females in San Antonio, Texas in 2011.”

This week the feds arrested Natasha Marie Goodlow, a 21-year-old associate of Simmons' from Kirby, claiming she and Simmons enticed and had sex with a local 16-year-old girl so Simmons could watch, shoot video and take photos.

The feds say Goodlow and Simmons began recruiting the teenager to be a fashion model immediately after meeting her. Soon the girl started texting “Keturah” and “Kevin” – both of whom turned out to be Simmons himself, the feds claim – who urged the girl to start sending nude photos saying she “needed to produce these images and videos to remain competitive with other prospective models for lucrative modeling opportunities.”

Eventually Goodlow and Simmons had sex with the girl, on camera, on two separate dates in January at Simmons' apartment on Vance Jackson. When the FBI searched the apartment in late January, they found some 900 images and 21 videos, the complaint states.

Some might remember Simmons from a blistering 2008 Dateline report outlining numerous charges from aspiring models who took part in Simmons' failed reality TV venture. In interviews with Dateline, contestants accused him of lying to and sexually exploiting young models with promises of fame and fortune. The production bombed when Simmons' film crew bailed because he couldn't pay them.
