Spurs Announce 2013-14 Season Schedule

Posted By on Wed, Aug 7, 2013 at 11:47 AM

As summer draws to a close, San Antonians have two reasons to rejoice: 1. The prospect of lower temperatures, and more importantly 2. A new season for the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs kick off the 2013-14 season on Oct. 30 at the AT&T center. Fans can flock to the stadium to watch the Spurs go up against the Memphis Grizzlies in a rematch of last season’s Western Conference Finals. Some notable games this season include: The Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 21, the Los Angeles Clippers on Jan. 4, and the Los Angeles Lakers on March 14. Check out the whole schedule: here.

Those looking for some Texas on Texas action can tune in on Dec. 25 when the Spurs host the Houston Rockets as part of the NBA’s Christmas Day schedule, and also on Jan. 8 when they play the Dallas Mavericks. This is the first year the Spurs will play a regular season game outside the U.S. and Canada, as they gear up to play the Minnesota Timberwolves in Mexico City on Dec. 4.

Unfortunately, the Spurs won’t be seeing the Miami Heat until Jan. 26, so if you’re itching to see the Spurs prove to Miami that last year’s championship belonged to San Antonio, you’re going to have to cool your jets and find some patience. But don’t worry; good things come to those who wait.

Season tickets are available now by calling (210) 444-5050, visiting Spurs.com or the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or on weekend event days starting at Noon.  Ticket plans start at just $11 per game.  Purchase season tickets by Friday, August 9 and receive a replica Spurs jersey.  The on-sale date for single game tickets will be announced at a later time.
