Listen up law-flaunters — if you owe some money to Johnny Law, now’s the time to pay up.

Those with outstanding warrants relating to fines from Class C misdemeanors can pay them from Saturday, February 20 through Sunday, March 6. That’s two whole weeks to pay what you owe without fear of being arrested. Class C misdemeanors are offenses related to traffic or other city ordinance violations.

There are a couple ways to pay: either online at this site, or in person at the San Antonio Municipal Court (401 S. Frio St.). The court is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Pay by credit card, check, cash or money order.

If you need to speak to a judge or court staff about a payment plan, they will be available at the Municipal Court from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Now here’s the catch: If you don’t take advantage of this grace period, law enforcement will be looking for your between Monday, March 7 and Sunday, March 13 as part of the Great Texas Warrant Roundup. The roundup is a statewide effort to get folks to pay their outstanding fines, or face the prescribed repercussions for failing to do so. The San Antonio Police Department resolved over 22,000 outstanding warrants last year during the roundup.

Not sure if you have an outstanding warrant? Check here.
