Two bodies were found in Canyon Lake on Wednesday within nine hours of each other.

David Alan Morrison, 65, was found floating nearly seven hours after he was reported missing. According to the Express–News, searchers found his body next to a small aluminum boat near Canyon Lake's western shores at Tom Creek — about 40 miles north of San Antonio.

A few hours later, officials were called back to the lake after reports that Fabien Celes, 15, went missing after jumping off a cliff into the water. The local sheriff's office, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and the New Braunfels Dive Team found Celes' body Wednesday afternoon, according to KSAT.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department said they believe the incidents are unrelated, according to the Express–News. Two separate investigations are now underway.
