In a Sunday press conference, Mayor Ron Nirenberg announced that all schools across San Antonio will remain open Monday, despite the weekend's drenching. A few districts outside of Bexar County, however, will have delayed starts.

VIA buses will be on their regular schedule and all city operations will also be open tomorrow, including senior centers and libraries. Many flights going in and out of San Antonio, however, have been delayed or cancelled.

Nirenberg also shared that the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center only has less than one day’s supply of blood on hand due to the increase in demand — and are asking for any donations. While San Antonio has avoided the brunt of Hurricane Harvey, at least 10 remain closed due to flooding.
