Update 1:45 p.m. - Turns out the Lopez may not have been so sincere in his Instagram posts. Chef Jason Dady hints at a certain celebrity wanting a free meal at his new restaurant Range in exchange for a social media promotion. Dady didn't accept, and said he might put said celebrity on blast. But we're guessing Mr. AC Slater is the celebrity in question. Because Mi Tierra usually isn't our first pick either...

If you grew up watching Saved By The Bell reruns before school like I did, then you'll be sad to know that Mario Lopez was in San Antonio this past weekend. And we all missed him.

Womp womp.

The TV-actor-turned-celebrity-talk-show-host dined at Mi Tierra like most tourists do. He even posed alongside Eva Longoria, well... her place on the wall of celebrities within the restaurant, anyway.

He posted pictures to his Twitter and Instagram accounts on Sunday, with captions like "Always make a stop at Mi Tierra. Love this town."

Aww! We're flattered, Mario Lopez. Why don't you give us a heads up next time so we can eat some pan dulce with you? Our treat.
