San Antonio Police Ask for Public's Help to ID Suspected Hardberger Park Rapist

The San Antonio Police Department have released a detailed sketch of the man suspected of raping a female jogger in Phil Hardberger Park on Tuesday, September 12. In a media release, SAPD asked for the public's help in identifying the suspect based on the sketch and a description collected from victim testimony.

According to the report, the white, stocky male suspect is in his late 20s early 30s, between 5’ 9” and 6’ 1", has light colored hair, a thin scar across his chin, a left pierced ear (with damaged cartilage described as "cauliflower ear"), a noticeable Adam's apple and a very strong, angular jaw line.

At the time of the assault, the suspect was wearing a light gray sweatshirt with a Nike logo and black gloves, according to the police report. The victim said that before pulling her to the ground, the suspect grabbed her neck and said "I'm going to get you."

Based on the report, it appears the Texas Rangers are now involved in the investigation.
