A Jeep fell off a bridge near downtown San Antonio early Tuesday morning following the winter storm that has caused many Texas cities to all but shut down.

Resident Joe Green shared photos and short videos to his Facebook page, showing a Jeep that the San Antonio Express-News said fell off the West Commerce bridge and landed on its side near North Comal. According to the E-N, the San Antonio Police department was unable to provide further details on the accident. In one of the videos, however, Green can be heard telling another man that the driver of the Jeep survived the crash.

The accident is just one of many across San Antonio Tuesday.

North of downtown, KSAT reports that a driver crashed into a tree just after midnight. A 30-year-old driver was traveling down Fresno Road when he began fishtailing after going over some railroad tracks, according to KSAT. He then allegedly hit a tree near the Michigan Avenue intersection, which officials told the news station was due to wet roads.

News4San Antonio reports that it took 20 minutes for the man to be cut out of his vehicle. The man was transported to University Hospital, where he is being treated for multiple injuries, according to the news station's reports.

The city's Emergency Operations Center is urging residents to avoid non-essential travel through Tuesday afternoon.
