In addition to being fired from his part-time job at local bar Rumble, the "Make America Great Again" hat snatcher has been arrested for the alleged attack on July 4.

Kino Jimenez, 30, was arrested Thursday night following the internet outing him as the man who took a MAGA hat off of 16-year-old Hunter Richard while dining at a San Antonio Whataburger.

Now, Jimenez has been charged with theft of a person, a state felony.

In the short expletive-filled video, the attack appears to have been unprovoked. KENS5 reports that witnesses, who wished to remain anonymous, said the attack may not have been unprovoked, with the table of teens making racist remarks about minorities. The news station has not confirmed the legitimacy of these claims.

According to reports, however, police say Jimenez first asked Richard why he was wearing the hat, to which he said he was supporting the president. The affidavit says this led to what went down on camera: Jimenez throwing his drink and walking away with the hat while cursing.

But Richard won't have to be without his hat for long. Donald Trump Jr. tweeted Thursday that if the internet tracked down Richard, he'd send a new hat signed by daddy himself.
Brad Parscale outdid Trump Jr., going as far as reaching out to Richard's friend that was present at the incident. According to a screenshot of direct messages between Parscale and the unidentified friend, Richard was visiting San Antonio from Florida.

Officers with the San Antonio Police Department's Robbery Task Force Unit tracked down Jimenez in Universal City. He's being held on a $5,000 bond.
