An Austin woman is facing a theft charge for using her position in the Austin Polish Society to write checks for personal gain, but is getting attention from fans of The Office.

Karolina Camara wrote 54 checks worth $72,800 to herself and her husband while serving as treasurer of the Austin Polish Society, a non-profit organization. Camara, 41, was booked into Williamson County Jail earlier this month but has since paid bond, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

On Friday, the capital's newspaper tweeted a link to the article with Camara's mugshot attached.
Twitter user @SurfOpie jokes that Camara is a very weathered version of Jenna Fischer, who portrayed Beesly on the show.
In the series finale, character Pam Beesly and Jim Halpert left Dunder Mifflin and moved to Austin so the longtime paper salesman could pursue his dream career at a sports management startup.
Camara could face up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
