A San Antonio movie theater was evacuated Tuesday night after a man exhibited bizarre behavior.

A man walked into the Regal Huebner Oaks Stadium 14 & RPX theater around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday after buying a ticket. According to reports, the man, who had a backpack, started screaming. Moviegoers were unable to understand what he was saying, causing them to panic and run out of the theater.

Some witnesses alleged that the man was drunk.
The incident was reported and police responded to the scene. Police said the man resisted arrest and had to be detained on a stretcher before being transported to University Hospital. He was arrested but his charges are unknown at this time.

Witnesses also reported that the man may have had a gun. No weapons were found in the theater or with the suspect, according to police.

The moviegoers were later let back in to the theater or given tickets to another showing.
