A fire at a piñata shop on the city's West Side Tuesday evening caused more than $1 million in damage, according to reports.

Around 6:40 p.m., firefighters received a call about a fire at Cuevas Piñatas, located at 1335 Culebra Road. Reports say heavy smoke was seen coming out from the front of the building, causing firefighters to work harder to get inside.

No one was injured in the fire, but the blaze will allegedly come at a big cost to the shop owners. Safety officials told KSAT that the owner claimed to have just stocked up on more than $1 million worth of merchandise. While the building is insured, the merchandise is not. According to officials, products that weren't burned were damaged by smoke and water.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but is being investigated.
