Actress Eva Longoria Baston is publicly backing Beto O'Rourke, y'all.

Longoria, a native of Corpus Christi, took to social media over the weekend to back the U.S. senate candidate. She highlighted that O'Rourke supports healthcare for all and investing in public schools. Speaking in English and Spanish, she used the hashtags #betofortexas and #VotaXBeto to help spread her message.
While other celebrities – such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Ethan Hawke and Andy Cohen – have backed the El Paso congressman, Longoria may resonate more with Texas voters because of her Texas roots, activism on Latino issues and one-time marriage to Tony Parker.

Republicans may have abandoned Willie Nelson for backing O'Rourke, but his rally performance also helped keep the El Paso native in the spotlight.

O'Rourke has also slowly received national recognition and donations in the last year, and more so after appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

FYI: Today is the last day to register to vote. You can do so here.
