If you're worried about your Wolverine blades slicing up your car's dashboard or your lightsaber getting wedged under the brake pedal, consider having someone else drive you to Alamo City Comic Con at the Alamodome.

VIA Metropolitan Transit is offering to take Comic Con fans round-trip – from the bus operator's park-and-ride location at 151 Crossroads Blvd. to the Alamodome and back – from $5.

Times for the service are:
  • Friday, October 26 – Service starts 1 p.m., return service ends 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 27 – Service starts 8 a.m., return service ends 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 28 – Service starts 8 a.m., return service ends 7 p.m.
The fine print includes:

Rides are $2.50 each way in case you only need a ride there or back.

Student, military personnel, senior citizens and children will be charged discounted fares.

Attendees can pre-purchase tickets for VIA's Park-and-Ride Services through the VIA goMobile smartphone app.

Bus passes aren't valid for the service.
