Let's face it, we've all wished we could play with LEGO as a job at one point or another in our lives. Well, that wish just might come true.

A Legoland Discovery Center is coming to San Antonio, slated to open in early 2019. A statewide search will be conducted for a Master Model Builder to join the team. If you think you've got what it takes to go head-to-head against the best of the best, then you can compete for the opportunity to earn the job when Brick Factor 2019, a two-day live competition at the Shops at Rivercenter, is conducted in January.

At the competition, participants will be tasked with timed builds, assigned builds, interviews, and freestyle builds. Those who want to become a full-time Master Model Builder should be able to build LEGO models as requested by management, deliver "fun, inspirational and creative model builder workshops" to guests, as well as other requirements, such as being comfortable on camera and working with media outlets, enjoying mentoring and coaching children, be able to read model productions and drawings, and, of course, love LEGO.

The new facility will feature a plethora of attractions, such as a 4-D theater, earthquake tables, a creative workshop, several rides, and much more. Check out the website for additional information.
