San Antonio's annual Martin Luther King Jr. march is the largest of its kind in the entire nation. Luckily, VIA Metropolitan Transit will provide free public transportation to the event.

Yep, that's right, VIA will be giving free rides to the march, scheduled for Monday, January 21. Those who wish to participate can find the free shuttles at Freeman Coliseum, 3201 E. Houston Street, Lot 1 and St. Philip's College, 1801 Martin Luther King Drive, Lot 22 at Montana and Mittman streets from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Those who do choose to join will be dropped off on MLK Drive. VIA will return shuttles to the sites for pickup from 12 to 3 p.m. The service for returning will pick up participants at Pittman-Sullivan Park at 1101 Iowa Street.

Any questions or inquiries about the drop off and pick up can be directed to (210) 362-2020, or, alternatively, one could visit the official VIA website.
