Hundreds of people took the streets of downtown San Antonio Saturday to protest the war the Trump administration and allies such as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott are waging on immigrants, transgender people and women’s control over their own bodies.
The protest was organized by 50501 SATX in coordination with the Bexar County Democratic Party, the Northeast Bexar Democrats, Indivisible and the Party for Socialism and Liberation. It was 50501 SATX’s ninth mass protest since Trump assumed the presidency earlier this year.
