Canadian indie-rock act Men I Trust will perform Monday, Aug. 25, at San Antonio’s Boeing Center at Tech Port, according to details released by the venue.

Tickets are on sale now for the Alamo City show, which is part of the band’s Equus North American Tour.

“Known for their hypnotic melodies, lush dream-pop soundscapes and mesmerizing live performances, the Canadian indie trio — Emma Proulx, Jessy Caron and Dragos Chiriac — delivers an intimate yet electrifying musical experience,” an event description for the show reads.

Indie in every sense of the word, the Quebec City trio has self-released all of its own music, which includes four studio albums. Even with its DIY ethic, the band has gained an international fandom and garnered 43 million views on YouTube for its “Show Me How” music video.

Incorporating elements of jazz, funk and R&B into intoxicating grooves, the high school friends have carved out a niche, uniquely inhabiting the liminal space between indie, lo-fi and dream pop.

The trio also was featured on a 2021 episode of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.

$25, 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, Boeing Center at Tech Port, 3331 General Hudnell Drive, (210) 600-3699, techportcenter.com.
