Stars & Stripes Salute at the Alamo: This free July Fourth event at the world-renowned historical site will culminate with a downtown fireworks display. In addition to a full day of family activities and food trucks, the gathering will feature live music from the U.S. Air Force Band of the West. Stars & Stripes on Houston Street Parade: This colorful downtown parade will return for its second year. Featuring both military and civilian showcases, the parade will start at downtown’s Legacy Park and make its way along Houston Street to Travis Park. Special seating packages are available for a fee. July 4th Weekend Celebration at Historic Market Square: It’s hard to think of a more puro San Antonio Fourth of July experience than celebrating at Market Square. Star Spangled Nights at Six Flags Fiesta Texas: The Northwest San Antonio theme park will present an immersive fireworks show on July 4 and 5 that gets underway at 9:15 p.m. both nights.
