An Amsterdam-inspired coffee shop where both java and joints are on the menu opened this week on the North St. Mary’s Strip.

Lazydaze + Coffeeshop trumpeted its arrival in the north-of-downtown nightlife district via a Monday Instagram post. According to the shop’s website, customers can come in, smoke a joint, sip THC-infused coffee, get work done or hang with friends while getting a buzz.

The shop is located at 2809 N. St. Mary’s St. in the same strip center as cocktail spot TBA and Singhs Vietnamese.

The Austin-based Lazydaze coffee-shop brand, which has been around since 2004, initially opened a location off Jackson Keller Road on the Northside. However, that store has since closed.

The St. Mary’s Strip location is Lazydaze’s fifth. Its other locations include Austin, Pflugerville, Albuquerque and Baltimore.

Although it’s Amsterdam-inspired, Lazydaze can’t legally sell marijuana in the state of Texas. Instead, it offers an array of products that contain delta-8 and delta-9 THC, which allow patrons to experience the “high” of weed without violating state law.

Lazydaze’s menu includes legal THC-infused coffees, matcha, seltzers and teas, as well as delta-8 and delta-9 buds. Of course, the shop also sells rolling papers and other accessories.
