On Tuesday, the Texas Senate passed a pretty unusual resolution — Senate Resolution 569, naming martial artist, actor and film producer Chuck Norris an honorary Texan.
Norris, an Oklahoma native and Walker, Texas Ranger star, also received a State Senate gavel and flag that had once flown over the Alamo.
Senate Resolution 569 passed unanimously, because who’d say no to a man with his own school of martial arts?
