Oh, did you not have enough during Friday’s first-ever Whiskey Business?
After attending the San Antonio Current’s whiskey party, the guys at Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling made their way to Austin for this year’s Whiskies of the World expo. The trip was fortuitous as the San Antonio-based brewstillery came away with two Best in Class honors (for the .36 Single Barrel and Rimfire Mesquite Smoked Single Malt), along with four silver medals.
If you didn’t get a chance to try the whiskies during Whiskey Business (we won’t blame you, there was plenty to choose from), visit Range Creek’s Tasting Room (4834 Whirlwind Drive, 210-775-2099) on Saturdays, between 5 and 9 p.m. for beer, whiskey, and special cocktails will be available for purchase by the glass.
