Whenever I hear someone say–again–that, “Art should be free!” my response is, “Yeah that’s great, but who’s buying the art supplies?” Last weekend off San Pedro, just south of the Nightrocker, dozens of local graf writers threw up some alley burners with help from Corpus Christi, Austin, Houston and New York artists. This time, the house bought in.
