While Big Red and barbacoa is a perfect match every Sunday morning (or really any day of the year), the festival dedicated to the duo is gearing up for this year’s festivities.
Hosts WhatAPartySA and TonyC Enterprises have reserved May 20 for the puro San Antonio event, according to a Facebook post on the official festival page. It will take place at R&J Music Pavilion on the city’s Southside.
The festival, now in its seventh year, welcomes Alamo City restaurants to cook up their barbacoa and compete for very serious bragging rights.
