It’s the most wonderful time of the year — for Girl Scout cookie fans.

San Antonio’s sixth annual Girl Scout Cookie Flavor Fest returned Feb. 20 and runs through March 1. Fifteen restaurants and venues across the city and in neighboring communities including Boerne, Floresville and New Braunfels are partnering with Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas to transform iconic the iconic cookies into desserts, brunch specials, wine pairings and craft drinks.

Flavor Fest has become a playful, feel-good way for local chefs, bakers and baristas to flex their creativity while supporting a program that builds entrepreneurial skills in girls. Each participating business purchases its cookies directly from local Girl Scouts, with 100% of those funds staying in Southwest Texas to power troop activities, service projects, travel and summer camp.

Restaurants going the dessert route include Clementine, where guests can indulge in a Rocky Road dessert with layers of toasted almond ice cream, diamante, crémeux, house-made marshmallow and the new Exploremores cookie.

More of a cocktail person? Rosario’s ComidaMex & Bar is shaking up a S’more Than Espresso martini that includes vodka, toasted mocha almond and rich espresso, finished with a campfire-inspired Exploremores cookie crumble rim.

Brunch favorite Magnolia Pancake Haus debuted a Samoas Waffle topped with salted caramel, chocolate ganache and toasted coconut — all served with a Samoas cookie, naturally.

Wine lovers can head to Re:Rooted 210 Urban Winery for its Re:Pair Merit Badge Sampler, pairing four wines with Samoas, Adventurefuls, Lemon-Ups and Exploremores cookies.

Coffee spot Kulture Kafe is pouring a Scout Royale Latte featuring espresso, Trefoils, Exploremores, cookie butter, caramel and lemon sweet condensed cold foam topped with a Lemon-Up.

At Gather Brewing Co., guests can dig into a Rocky Road Waffle combining Belgian waffle, rocky road ice cream, marshmallow, candied pecan, chocolate sauce and Exploremores crumble.

Additional participants in this year’s cookie creativity include Aldaco’s Mexican Cuisine, Cakes by Felicia, La Michoacana Lone Star, Love is Sweets Cake Pops and Ice Cream, Rosie Lynn’s Ice Cream Shop, Hungry Horse Restaurant & Catering, The Scoop at The Mill and Wicked Voodoo Espresso.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program remains the largest entrepreneurial program for girls in the world, according to the organization. In 2025, Girl Scouts in Southwest Texas sold more than 1.2 million boxes and are aiming to top that total this year.

Cookies are $5 per box and will be sold at booths across the area through March 11. Locations can be found at girlscoutcookies.org.
