Who knew it was so hard to find a buyer willing to drop $20 million on an NBA legend’s former home?
Since being listed last September at that asking price, a series of cuts has whittled the tag for beloved SA Spur Tony Parker’s former digs down to a mere $11 million.
And when we say “a mere $11 million,” we’re not being facetious. That’s probably a goddamned steal for a 13,000-square-foot mansion nestled on 53 acres in Boerne and equipped with its own water park, fruit orchard and separate courts for both tennis and volleyball.
Oh, and did we mention the herb garden and tortoise habitat? Because it’s got those too.
In addition to six bedrooms, five and half baths and dual offices, the estate also boasts a private meditation suite, a movie theatre, a game room with a bar, a library and even a barber studio. The primary suite features its own private terrace, a spa-like bath and custom walk-in closets someone could possibly get lost inside.
Fitting for a man immersed in the sporting life, Parker’s former pad includes a separate 6,000-square-foot recreation complex with a full-size basketball court lined with life-size comic book characters on the sidelines. Overlooking the hoops facility are a pro-level gym and a gaming arcade fitting of a 1980s shopping mall.
Surely some fan of the Silver and Black has a few spare million wedged between a couch cushion somewhere. Or maybe we can take bets on when the price drops to $9 million, representing Parker’s retired jersey number.
