
A Monday morning shooting at a suburban San Antonio high school has left one student dead and wounded teacher in unknown condition.
A 15-year-old student at Hill Country Preparatory High School in Bulverde opened fire at around 9 a.m., according to KSAT, The student died at the scene, while the teacher was transported to a San Antonio hospital in unknown condition, the TV station reports.
The Comal County Sheriff’s Office, in a series of Facebook posts, reiterated that students aren’t in immediate danger and have been taken by bus to Bulverde Middle School to reunite with their parents.
The school remains in lockdown, and the investigation is ongoing.
