Surely you remember Chia Pets, those kitschy terracotta figurines that sprout greenery like hair when you water them.
Turns out a San Antonio homeowner liked that look enough to emulate it over the entire exterior of a two-story house that’s now up for sale. Although we’re guessing the greenery in this case is ivy, not chia sprouts.
Novelty aside, the three-bedroom, 2-and-a-half-bath property has some nice features, including an elegant foyer, a massive back patio and an impressive treehouse and play set that any kid would prize. Not to mention, the 2000s-era home’s North Central location is conveniently close to Phil Hardberger Park.
We’re guessing anyone who could afford the $339,900 price tag would also be able to spring for a pair of hedge clippers if they’re not down with the Chia House look.
