2.) Roberta Buckles- On Butterfly Wings: Marked Transformation

Marked and changed by significant events and illness, we heal with exquisite imperfection and are transformed,” Artist Roberta Buckle states about her upcoming exhibit “On Butterfly Wings: Marked Transformation.” Her works show symmetry in life and transformation. Diana Malone is known as a triple threat, she not only directed Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew she also designed the set and the costumes. Find out how she did all this from the woman herself, Diane Malone will be talking about how she took off-the-rack clothes and turned into Shakespearian era masterpieces and all the other tasks she took on for Taming of the Shrew.

5.) Cynthia H. Brants + Kurt F. Roesch "Lineage of Modernism"

Modernism is coming to Gallery Nord! Artists Cynthia Brants and Kurt Roesch will be displaying their works that display cubism and modern expression. These works with their use of color, shape, and line will be sure to keep your eyes entertained for hours.

6.) Kelly Luce Signing, Three Scenarios in Which Sasaki Grows a Tail

This book is the first of a collection of stories by Luce that explore the power of human memory and measure the human capacity to love. 7.) Dreaming in Gold

Have you ever dreamed in gold? Well after viewing this show you may just do that! This show displays the work of Wesley Harvey. As described by the event’s press release (for the lack of a better way to phrase it), “For this exhibition, he continues his exploration into Queer Theory looking at both the normative and deviant behaviors by utilizing the collage process on his ceramic vessels. Heavily influenced by the imagery of Tom of Finland, drag queens, and personal ads online, he creates narratives of normal and or deviant behaviors and incorporating vintage floral decals with an excess of gold and glitter.” So feast your eyes upon the glitter and dream in gold!

9.) Hyperbubble Synthposium
Saturday, Nov. 9, 1 p.m.
Jeff and Jess DeCuir, of Hyperbubble, will be giving a "Synthposium." At this synthposium they will be offering a quick intro into the roots of electronic music and the story of their start in musical electronic technology. You can also participate in live demos of a theremin, synthesizer, vocoder, sampler, and sequencer. Learn some new things about electronic music and hang out with Hyperbubble!

10.) The Lost Project

The Lost Project consists of brothers Jason and Nick Valdez and long-time friend D.J. Aleman. They originally started off in a Ska band but they have re-united to bring the world some awesome Indie/Pop-Punk tunes. You can check them out at The Mix.
