In 2013, at just 30 years old, Caroline Shaw became the youngest person to ever win the Pulitzer Prize for Music.

A composer, instrumentalist and vocalist, Shaw has also racked up five Grammy Awards. Her genre-bending style seems especially suited to working with small chamber ensembles, which makes San Antonio’s Agarita Chamber Players the perfect foil to her ever-evolving musical journey.

Agarita will accompany Shaw this Saturday a one-night-only performance that will include both her award-winning work and compositions by others who inspire her.

Suliman Tehalli also will be featured on violin.

Free with online registration, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4, Stable Hall, 307 Pearl Parkway, (210) 427-7464, agarita.org.
