Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson will touch down in San Antonio once again.
The Tobin Center will welcome Tyson for a speaking event on “The Search for Life in the Universe” next summer. He will review the ongoing efforts to find habitable planets, liquid water and life in the cosmos. He’ll also explore the search for intelligent life and whether he thinks said life exists on Earth already.
In addition to his work at the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City, Tyson is known nationally for his speaking events. He was last in San Antonio in January 2018, his third visit since the Tobin opened in 2014. Here’s a video of Mayor Ron Nirenberg geeking out over Tyson during a segment of #AskRon.
