Those who missed pop superstar Chappell Roan’s performance at Austin City Limits last weekend or simply didn’t get enough of the femininomenon at the show can enjoy the next best thing this weekend.

Stable Hall is transforming into the Pink Pony Club for “Hot to Go: A Chappell Roan Party,” a touring dance party stopping in the Alamo City this Saturday to celebrate the singer. Though it may be obvious to those who know just how huge Roan is — no, the Midwest Princess won’t be present for this DJ-ed event.

Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their best Chappell-inspired outfits and dance the night away. Music will be provided by DJ Taylor Sullivan, whose selections will include the pop star’s biggest hits.
Advertised as “your favorite party’s favorite party,” the event will also feature a performance by local drag queen Kristi Waters. A fixture of the San Antonio drag scene for over 19 years, Waters has won Best Drag Performer in the San Antonio Current‘s Best of San Antonio for five consecutive years. Waters has also been crowned Best Local Celebrity in the annual reader-selected awards.

This event is all ages.

$17-$23, 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, Stable Hall, 307 Pearl Parkway, stablehall.com.
