With the season’s opening night approaching, the San Antonio Spurs on Monday unveiled the team’s new Statement Edition jersey — the team’s first update to this uniform line in two seasons.

The new jersey, which will serve as the Core alternative for the next three seasons, is the first Core uniform since 1989 to feature “San Antonio” in place of “Spurs.” The jersey also features the phrase “Go Spurs Go” above the NBA authenticity tag on the front’s lower left-hand corner.

Stephon Castle, the 2025 NBA Rookie of the Year, will serve as the face of the new jersey’s launch, the team said in a press release.

The jersey is designed by Nike and also will feature an Air Jordan logo. The logo of the Spurs’ new sponsorship partner, French crypto wallet company Ledger, is also featured prominently on the upper right-hand corner.

The new design comes ahead of the Silver and Black’s highly anticipated regular season opener against the Mavericks in Dallas on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Fans will have to wait until Sunday, Oct. 26, to see the Spurs in their Frost Bank Center home opener against the Brooklyn Nets. Tickets for that game start at $23.80 before fees and taxes on Ticketmaster
