San Antonio’s Angela N. Weddle is a multidisciplinary visual artist on the autism spectrum and hindered by cerebral palsy — and her work presents a fascinating peek into the mind of a genuinely nonlinear thinker.

Weddle’s singular blend of photography and mark-making, often intense to the point of confounding the viewer with sensory overload, offer a glimpse at a psychological landscape rarely put on public display. These images conflate the sensory and physical world into a wholly individual vocabulary.

Weddle’s latest exhibition, “Accumulation of Becoming,” opens this Thursday at Un Grito Gallery at the Blue Star Arts Complex and will remain on display through Thursday, May 21.

Free, 7-10 p.m., Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1 and by appointment, Un Grito Gallery, Upstairs Studios at Blue Star Arts Complex, 1420 S. Alamo St., (210) 992-0585, instagram.com/ungritogallery.
