AT&T Center Unleashes the 3-Pointer Sandwich

Cue the waves of pseudo-nutritionists' with their "this is why we're fat" comments: there's a new Franken-sandwich in town. The AT&T Center and food service company Aramark announced the triple decker 3-Pointer sandwich, a tribute to the the Spurs' Big Three. There's gotta be an "Everything's Bigger in Texas" joke in there...

Here's what's in it: three barbecued meats (pork, smoked beef brisket and sausage), three cheeses (Texas havarti, Muenster and queso fresco), Mexican Coca Cola caramelized onions and a choice of sauce (root beer BBQ, adobo BBQ or Creole mustard BBQ) sandwiched between three slices of Texas Toast. Ay Dios mio.

And because we're nervous eaters and we're anxious about this year's rematch, we can't wait to get our hands on one of these guys. The 3-Pointer, $12.50, can be found at The Smokehouse BBQ, Section 122. We hope Matt Bonner, renowned sandwich connoisseur, stays away at least until we clinch the series. Go Spurs Go.
