SA Current to Barrilla Chairman, “Central Market/HEB/TJs makes really great pasta, so thanks, but not thanks.”
The America Blog first reported on the Barilla chairman’s derogatory comments. Guido Barilla expressed anti-gay sentiments by saying the company preferred “traditional families” and “I would never do (a commercial) with a homosexual family, not for lack of respect but because we don’t agree with them. Ours is a classic family where the woman plays a fundamental role.”
This has clearly caused quite the kerfuffle on the company’s US Facebook page.
