Element Kombucha can now be found on draft at the HEB location on 1604 and Bandera. This is a change to the traditional growler game, but hey we’re all about change, right? As of this past Thursday, you’ll find four of Element’s flavors: jasmine hibiscus, oolong tea, lavender spearmint and the “Yellow Stinger” or ginger flavor inside the largest H-E-B store in the world. For $13, you can walk out the door with 64 ounces of bubbly, tangy goodness.
A place on H-E-B’s tap could be considered big time for the little “booch” makers, Kevin Rayhons and Tim Trofimenkov. The friends first launched Element Kombucha in a small room inside Alchemy Kombucha & Culture. Though the restaurant is now closed, the space now operates as Element's expanded production facility. The kombucha can still be found in bottles in most H-E-B stores, and the Pearl’s Farmers Market on weekends.
