Escape The Rain With These Bars and Arcades

These past few weeks this rain has been relentless. All we want to do is go outside and enjoy the nice spring air. So until the rain lets up we have a handful of bars and arcade bars where you can stop by and have a great time and also keep yourself dry.

Down at Bowlero, bowling is just the beginning. They have so many things to do if bowling ain't your cup of tea. They've got bowling (duh), a ropes course, foosball, billiards, air hockey, shuffleboard and arcade games. Little Woodrow's
Chase the rainy day blues away with some cold beer and one of their delicious burgers. Also, nothing beats the rain like a good ol' turtle race! Head down to Lil Woodrow's every Thursday and watch some awesome turtle racing. They've got awesome drink specials as well that vary during the week. Slackers is pretty much the place to be if you love video games, sports and drinking. They've managed to combine all three into this one crazy fun place. They have video games, TVs, electronic shuffleboard, pinball and all sorts of sports memorabilia hanging on the walls. They've got all you want as far as bar selection goes, beer, cocktails, even adult ICEEs. If the rain has got you down, make sure to stop by Slackers at 126 W. Rector Ste. 136. Alamo Drafthouse
If you're more in the mood for a beer and a movie, the Drafthouse is the place for you. Not only do they have a bar for you to have some drinks at before the movie, you can enjoy some movie snacks, food and beverages during the movie as well. Everybody knows that beer and movies is a great combination, so why not head down here? They have three different locations for you to choose from, and they all have different events going on at different times. They have one at Westlakes located at 1255 SW. Loop 410, one at Park North at 618 NW Loop 410 and another one at Stone Oak located at 22806 US Hwy 281 N. Da Bunker
At Da Bunker, all they want to do is show you a good time. They've got a full bar where they're mixologist can make you a drink of your choosing. In addition to a great bar, they've got lots of other fun stuff as well. They've got billiards, darts, and live music. They even have their own billiards league that you can sign up for. They also have Texas Hold 'Em every Monday, Karaoke every Tuesday and local, live music every Friday and Saturday.
