Lion & Rose British Restaurant & Pub has officially opened their new 5,000-square-foot location at The Rim (17627 La Cantera Pkwy., Suite 103) after announcing its arrival this summer.
A central bar is the focus of the restaurant along with a video wall and two patios. Not only did Lion & Rose get a facelift but you can expect to see some new booze on their menus, as well. The restaurant includes a custom tap system which will serve up 32 European and craft beers chilled to perfection. The state-of-the-art video wall, will be perfect for cheering on our San Antonio Spurs come October. The patios (and there are two of them) are also a nice touch when you feel like enjoying this bi-polar Texas weather because they have included a shaded patio and the other with a fire pit. If you're worried about parking they have you covered, literally. A parking garage is provided for customer convenience.
This location joins the other three at Broadway, Park North and The Forum. Their hours are 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday-Sunday and the kitchen service is open till midnight daily. They've also spiced up their menu with some new items, which include, flatbread pizzas, seared ahi tuna and street tacos.
