There’s a New House Beer at the SoFlo H-E-B

One of the city’s best happy hours (fight me) is changing things up at its base location. SoFlo Pizza, inside the South Flores H-E-B, offers $10 16-inch pizzas daily. During ~happy hour~ from 4 to 7 p.m., the ‘za special includes two pours of craft brew all for $10.

Since opening, the house brew was Alamo Beer’s Golden Ale, a perfectly acceptable beer, but a new beer is taking over the tap. Enter Dorćol Distilling + Brewing Co.’s HighWheel Betty, a flirty Kölsch with 21 IBUs and just over 5 percent ABV.

The new beer will debut with a Fiesta-inspired bash today from 3 to 7 p.m. that features music by Zach Talbert, $2 Bettys, $2 sausage wraps and more.
