Area bartendresses known collectively as Girl Gang, will ride their broomsticks over to Frank on Monday, October 30 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. for a bar takeover featuring Giffard, Treaty Oak Distilling and Campari.
For their previous pop-up at The Brooklynite, the team of six bartenders paid homage to THE mother of mean girls flicks with a Heathers-themed menu. Cocktails were dubbed "Dear Diary," "Hangover Cure," "Lick It Up, Baby," "Did That Sound Bitchy?", "What's Your Damage," and "Suicide Note" while the bartenders wore iconic croquet costumes worn by Wynona and co. The group, made up of Vanessa Vara, Danielle Chapman, Denise De Glopper, Karen Tartt, Haleigh Guillory and Zulcoralis Rodriguez, raised more than $450 to CORE, a nonprofit for children of food and beverage employees navigating life-altering circumstances.
Though the menu hasn't been released for The Craft pop-up, their charity of choice for this month is Mandy's Fight, an organization founded by Amanda Ramirez, a Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia survivor, who continues to fight by raising money for cancer research. At least $3 of every cocktail sold during the pop-up goes toward the chosen organization.
Costumes are strongly encouraged, and the drinks will most likely be stiff as a board (or light as a feather), so go ready to party.
