The sister location of Vegeria Vegan Tex-Mex (8407 Broadway St., Suite 1) opened its doors this Monday at 1422 Nogalitos. The menu at Viva Vegeria features some of the same items found at the first location such as the classic vegan nachos, but also includes new items such as the mole enchiladas, enchiladas verdes, gorditas de frijoles negros con platano, portabella chicharron street tacos, mushroom-stuffed chille rellenos and molletes de calabaza con crema.

Those familiar with the original Vegeria can look forward to a bigger setting as the space can hold up to 100 people with a two dining rooms and a sprawling patio. 

The new location, located a block west off I-35 will open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.Saturday with an all-day brunch/lunch menu, and vegan  and gluten-free buffet. Viva Vegeria is closed on Sunday.
