The Motörhead commemorative 40th anniversary bottle
Although Jack Daniel's and Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister had already teamed up to release a Motörhead 40th anniversary line of the Kentucky bourbon and half, literally, of Lemmy's favorite drink, Jack and Coke, their is now a limited edition bottle and batch, a commemorative memento dedicated to the man who was killed by death on December 26.
The 94 proof batch was recently made available but has, unfortunately, already sold out. It's flavors, certainly depleted with the introduction of a carbonated cola, are described by the folks at Jack Daniel's as "dark, oaky, but still [having] some corn and sweetness with that signature Jack smooth charcoal smoky finish."
In happy news, there is currently a petition circulating on change.org to change the name of the Jack and Coke to "The Lemmy," and Food & BeverageMagazine has already done so.
