Tonight, the St. Mary’s strip welcomes its newest venue The Amp Room. Located in the former Bootleggers, the venue at 2407 N. St. Mary’s is one of several new offerings on strip this year, including Paper Tiger, Phantom Room and a revamped Limelight.
The Amp Room opens this weekend with a two day gig featuring the Eric Turner Band, a blues rock outfit from Austin. According to the venue’s calendar, The Amp Room will book in the blues and neo-soul vein, with upcoming performances from Brian Scartocci, Public Disturbance and Treble Soul.
