Phantom Room, the newest venue from Danny Delgado (Hi-Tones, Faust) will open next weekend, April 16-18, with a pair of announced shows. On Thursday, April 16, Phantom Room hosts Cock Block Thursdays, an ongoing DJ and Lesbian night. The inaugural gig will feature JD Samson of Le Tigre, Kathleen Hanna's band after Bikini Kill.

On Saturday, April 18, Phantom Room hosts the release party for the second edition of St. Sucia, a zine "exposing what it is to be mujer in contemporary society." In addition to readings from the zine, the release will feature music from Pink Leche, Se Tu Propi Dios, American Swine and DJ Heavyflow.

"Phantom Room is looking a little more clubby, with more DJs," Delgado previously told the San Antonio Current. "The inside is old school theater-ish looking, we've knocked down several walls. We're doing photos of a lot of famous spots here in San Antonio that have been haunted, like the Dancing Devil on the West Side to La Llorona to the Donkey Lady. It has an eerie, old theater feel to it. Everything in there is going to be very old school vintage-y."
