The San Antonio Philharmonic will pay tribute to the Queen of Tejano with a series of concerts this weekend dubbed “¡Selena Vive!”

The orchestra will perform a career-spanning retrospective of Selena, the late South Texas superstar, with Alamo City native Isabel Marie Sánchez on vocals all three evenings. Sánchez, a Tejano Music Award winner and Latin Grammy nominee, has performed Selena tributes in other cities.

Award-winning Mexican conductor Felipe Tristán will serve as the San Antonio Philharmonic’s guest conductor for the weekend’s performances. Tristán currently resides in New York City.
