Pioneering Latin-rock group Santana will play the Majestic Theatre on Sunday, March 29 — a concert rescheduled from last April, when bandleader-guitarist Carlos Santana collapsed during a soundcheck.
The Grammy-winning act announced the new Alamo City concert Wednesday along with a spate of other spring 2026 dates on its Oneness tour, which spans 50 years of material.
Tickets purchased for Santana’s cancelled April 22 show have already been refunded, so those who want to see the rescheduled gig will need to purchase them again.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via the Majestic’s website. A fan pre-sale will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, however.
A representative of the band initially attributed Santana’s collapse at last spring’s San Antonio concert to dehydration. However, when group cancelled the following Texas date of that tour, the rep chalked it up to the 77-year-old guitarist testing positive for COVID-19.
Ticket price unknown, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 29, Majestic Theatre, 224 E. Houston St., (210) 226-3333, majesticempire.com.
