A sprawling paradise called Thunder Creek Ranch nestled in the wilderness less than 10 minutes north of Boerne hit the market this week.
The nearly 400-acre property harbors a wide variety of wildlife and yes, its very own creek. It’s also set up for a proper ranching operation. In addition to a main house and guest house, it also includes three barns plus horse facilities.
But this ranch isn’t for the poor saddle tramp. It will set you back nearly $15.5 million.
Sabinas Creek runs through the property, providing its own diversions by way of swimming, fishing and gorgeous scenic views. Forgive us for assuming the body of water was called Thunder Creek. Not sure where we got that. Oh, that’s right, it’s only the name of the ranch.
The main house itself is standard fare for a ranch home, though it’s definitely on the more pristine and moneyed end of the spectrum.
So, what famous ranching enthusiast has a cool $15 mil to drop on the property? Kevin Costner? RuPaul? Who knows, but we’re hankerin’ to find out.
