Get ready for stormy weather.

The National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio says we should expect heavy rainfall plus flooding this weekend.

There's a flash flood watch in place through Sunday morning, with Bexar County listed as high risk for dangerous rising water. The weather agency says expect anywhere from 5 to 10 inches of rain.

While meteorologists don't have a crystal ball, they say rainfall is possible anytime Friday through Sunday, but, in all likelihood, the downpour will start sometime this evening and continue through Saturday night with a high probability of flash flooding.

There will probably be pockets where heavier rain will fall, but there's no certainty about where "so stay tuned to forecasts, have ways to receive Flash Flood Warnings, and be prepared to act should flash flood warnings be issued for your are."

And for god-sakes, turn around, don't drown.
